Description:
This document presents summary data on the results of various treatability studies (bench and pilot scale), conducted at three different sites where soils were contaminated with dioxins or PCBs. The synopsis is meant to show rough performance levels under a variety of different conditions. The sites discussed are the Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) site Gulfport, MS; Bengart & Memel site, Buffalo, NY; and the Montana Pole site, Butte, MT. No detailed site descriptions were provided. There was no discussion of laboratory analysis procedures, QA/QC plan, or the amount of soils used in bench scale tests.
