Description:
This report updates the cancer dose-response assessment for polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and shows how information on toxicity, disposition, and environmental processes can be considered together to evaluate health risks from PCB mixtures in the environment. Processes that chemically change PCB mixtures after release into the environment need to be considered in assessing the mixtures. Thus, guidance is given on applying a range of dose-response parameters to different exposure routes, partial lifetime exposure, and mixtures of varying composition.
The report focuses on analysis and interpretation rather than a compilation of results.
