Impact/Purpose:

To assist decision-making by improving approaches to subsurface contaminant transport modeling based on evaluation of field observations and subsequent development of appropriate modeling approaches and tools.

Description:

Ninety six gasoline samples were collected from around the U.S. in Autumn 2004. A detailed hydrocarbon analysis was performed on each sample resulting in a data set of approximately 300 chemicals per sample. Statistical analyses were performed on the entire suite of reported chemicals.
