Description:

The Environmental Technology Verification report discusses the technology and performance of the Fuel-Borne Catalyst with CleanAir System's Diesel Oxidation Catalyst manufactured by Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. The technology is a fuel-borne catalyst used in ultra low sulfur diesel fuel with model CPD0950 diesel oxidation catalyst. The test was the Highway Transient Federal Test Procedure, heavy duty cycle, on an 8.3 L, 1990 Cummins on-highway heavy duty diesel engine. The mean emissions reductions in particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, and carbon dioxide were 53%, 7.4%, 59%, and 64%, respectively, relative to baseline emissions.
