Description:
Presentation provides information on the need to oxidize As III to As V to increase arsenic removal followed by information on the results of an arsenic demonstration project (Plainview CDS) using a solid oxidizing media (Filox) to oxidize As III. The presentation includes a short discussion on the benefits of using the oxidizing media over the use of a chemical oxidant, such as chlorine.
