Description:
To offer a polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) and dibenzofurans (PCDFs) parameter for plant operation control, the on-line estimation of PCDD/Fs emissions by surrogates like chlorophenols is useful. Formation of PCDD/Fs over fly ash was studied in an isothermal (310 degree C) flow reactor using different input vapor mixtures of one to four chlorinated phenols at very low and stable concentrations found in municipal waste incinerator flue gases.
