Impact/Purpose:

The analytes studied in this work included tabun (GA), nitrogen mustard 1 (HN1), nitrogen mustard 3 (HN3), and O-isobutyl S-(2-diethylaminoethyl)methyl phosphothioate (Russian VX, or RVX). Instrument detection limits and method detection limits in soil, water, and wipes for the above agents detected by gas chromatography/ (quadrupole) mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and gas chromatography/time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC/TOF-MS) were recorded.
