Impact/Purpose:
Coastal recreation can be impacted by changes in water quality. We have conducted several different research efforts to understand the impacts of water quality degradation or to develop baseline information on recreational use in coastal waters.
Description:
This presentation will be given to the Cape Cod Water Protection Collaborative, which is a Barnstable County (Cape Cod) committed made up of a representative from each town and two county appointees. They are charged with supporting the implementation of the 208 Plan Update to the Clean Water Act on the Cape. We will be presenting the our completed and ongoing work to connect coastal recreation with water quality change.
