Impact/Purpose:
To present technical research associated with developing ecological production function models for various habitat types along urban and agricultural activity stressor gradients. Through collaborative workshops with stakeholder groups associated with TBEP, wetlands have been identified as an ecosystem type with highly-valued ecological functions important for conservation and restoration. Here, we present preliminary results from a large multidisciplinary field effort to better quantify ecosystem structure and function in different wetland types in the Tampa Bay region.
