Impact/Purpose:
This final report provides an analysis of uncertainty and scaling for seven of the Report on the Environment (ROE) indicators. The purpose of the ROE is to provide a reliable set of indicators for year-to-year comparisons and to inform Agency planning and decision-making, making the treatment of uncertainty critical. This report may inform the future development of the ROE and other indicators used by the Agency with respect to quantifying uncertainty and scaling national-level environmental data to local levels.
