The presentation provides background and context for why extreme heat exposure is an important topic for health research, then highlights key findings from recently published or completed research projects that focus on extreme heat exposure and a health outcome of clinical or epidemiological significance. Included health outcomes include respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias.
