Presentation at the request of U.S. Forest Service to the Public Information Officers Incident Management Response Roundtable. 

Description:

This presentation presents an overview of the health effects of wildland fire smoke with an emphasis on the health effects of PM2.5. In addition, it covers those populations at-risk of smoke-related health effects and the remaining uncertainties in the health effects evidence. Lastly, this presentation outlines actions people can take to reduce and mitigate exposures along with various resources EPA has produced that may be of benefittp the audience.
