Impact/Purpose:

This is an invited seminar for the NC State Toxicology Program, which will be attended by graduate students and faculty.  The purpose is to provide background information on the IRIS program, the IRIS systematic review method, and examples of considerations for evidence synthesis. 

Description:

This presentation first describes the IRIS systematic review method and the role of IRIS in risk assessment at the EPA. Case studies on the IRIS approach to evidence integration are presented using phthalates and hexavalent chromium as examples.
