Impact/Purpose:
The purpose of this study was to determine impact of high-fructose diet on the cardiovascular and metabolic responses of rats to eucalyptus wood smoke.
Description:
These data show that high-fructose diet worsens the cardiovascular response of rats to a subsequent wildfire smoke exposure, in addition to changing baseline cardiovascular function and metabolic parameters.
