Impact/Purpose:

This is an invited presentation to the RTP Drug Metabolism Interest Group.

Description:

The presentation will give a historical perspective of why children cannot be viewed as small adults when evaluating drug and toxicant disposition. The presentation will then provide an overview with data of new approaches to evaluating the impact of enzyme ontogeny, including quantitative proteomics and modeling.
