California has experienced extremely devastating wildfires- leading to loss of property and life. The smoke from these fires can negatively impact human health. This presentation to the public health and health care professionals in California about EPA research on health impacts of wildfire smoke, protection of vulnerable communities, and resources to increase awareness and preparedness for smoke is timely, as the wildfire season is just beginning.
