FLOWSA is a Python package developed and maintained by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). FLOWSA is a data processing library that attributes environmental and economic resource use, waste, emissions, and losses to U.S. industrial and final-use sectors. This presentation provides an overview of the two datasets generated within FLOWSA, Flow-By-Activity and Flow-By-Sector datasets. The presentation also covers efforts to reduce code redundancy, promote transparency, and capture metadata.
