Training presentation on the U.S. EPA National Stormwater Calculator (SWC) at the Nature-based Solutions (NBS): Into the Green (Kentucky NBS Summer Webinar Series). This training is intended to inform hazard mitigation, watershed management, and stormwater management professionals how the SWC may be used for integrative hazard mitigation planning projects that involve green infrastructure stormwater projects in Kentucky. 

Description:

The  U.S. EPA National Stormwater Calculator (SWC) is a screening level modeling tool for planning of green infrastructure and low impact development (LID) stormwater management controls and projects throughout the U.S. The SWC provides stormwater runoff reduction and costs estimates, utilizing national databases on historical weather, climate change scenarios, and labor statistics. This training presentation is intended to inform how hazard mitigation, watershed management, and stormwater management professionals may use the SWC for integrative hazard mitigation projects that utilize green infrastructure and LID stormwater controls in Kentucky.
