Impact/Purpose:
The presentation will be delivered to members of the NSF International’s Drinking Water Treatment Unit (DWTU) Task Group on Higher Lead Influent. The presentation addresses lead in drinking water. NSF International develops standards and certification programs for point of use devices to remove lead from drinking water. The presentation describes (1) the methodology ORD has used to generate lead nanoparticles in the lab and (2) the types of lead nanoparticles that have been observed in the field.
