Impact/Purpose:

This poster discusses the use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for sampling air emissions from prescribed forest and grassland burns. The poster addresses the rotor wash effect on gas and particle measurements as well as how the emission factor levels relates to combustion properties. This poster would be of interest to anyone conducting air quality measurements as well as landowners/land mangers that conducts prescribed burns.
