Impact/Purpose:
This poster briefly describe a drone based sampling method used for characterize emissions from in-situ oil burns. The poster also summaries PM emission factors derived from in-situ oil burns using different remediation technologies. The results would be of interest to first responders and on-scene coordinators that have to make remediation technology decisions. These data are believed to be generally representative of in situ burn emissions but are likely also somewhat site- and condition-specific
