Description:

This invited lecture covers the existing adopted EPA WET methods and presents the methods that have been previously published by ORD and are now being standardize as well as additional methods to be standardized. The acute methods that are codified for Daphnia magna and Pimephales promelas test conditions are presentated. Chronic codified methods for Ceriodaphnia dubia and Pimephales promelas test conditions are presented. Codified chronic marine methods and methods developed by ORD for west coast marine species that are not codified are presented. The latest status of methods under standardization by ORD for Daphnia magna short-term growth and Neocloeon triangulifer are presented. The lecture ends with the next test methods to be standardized, Brook Trout short-term growth and the short-term growth method for the fathmucket.
