Bousquin, J. Rapid Benefits Indicators (RBI) Approach: A Process for Assessing the Social Benefits of Ecological Restoration. Wetlands and Hazard Mitigation Workshop, Washington, DC, October 31 - November 01, 2023.

Impact/Purpose:

This two-day workshop aims to integrate wetland and watershed conservation and restoration prioritization methodologies into hazard mitigation planning to promote the adoption of nature-based strategies. The RBI approach is one way to prioritize restoration sites or areas for conservation based on benefits to people.

Description:

The Rapid Benefits Indicators (RBI) Approach provides general methods to develop a set of Benefit Indicators for a given ecosystem services benefit.
