Impact/Purpose:
The purpose of this presentation and demonstration is to describe the features of the GLIMPSE decision support tool to GCAM users, communicating why they might want to add GLIMPSE to their GCAM workflow.
Description:
GLIMPSE (the Global Change Analysis Model Long-Term Interactive Multi-Pollutant Scenario Evaluator) is a model-based decision support tool designed to assist in environmental, climate, and energy planning. GLIMPSE serves as a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for GCAM, a publicly available, open source model. The objective of this presentation and demonstration is to convey the features of GLIMPSE to current GCAM users.
