Impact/Purpose:
Air emissions of PFAS from chemical manufacturing, industrial use, and thermal treatment sources, including combustion and incineration, is now recognized as a significant route for PFAS releases to the environment. The ability to measure and characterize PFAS air emissions is a rapidly emerging need. ORD is conducting research to develop and evaluate methods for measuring PFAS sources emissions.
Description:
This presentation will cover ORD air PFAS emissions measurement methods development research and activities which falls under EPA ORD’s PFAS research program.
