Impact/Purpose:
This presentation provides context to the relevance of pollutant load reduction estimates that are required for 319 program grant reporting. The USEPA spends millions $US as part of the 319 program to help address non-point source pollution. It maintains and requires states to use the Grant Reporting Tracking System (GRTS)as a means of tracking program activities and program effectiveness.
Description:
Our research objective was to conduct an Ohio state-wide survey of 319 projects and try to link effort to water quality improvements using the information in the GRTS. This presentation overviews the research approach, results, and conclusions from this research. It was organized to provided context to the relevance of pollutant load estimates to the 319 program.
