Jolly Pond Water Quality Survey
Impact/Purpose:
The US EPA is conducting a nationwide survey of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from reservoirs. The data will be used to include reservoirs in the 'Inventory of US GHG Emissions and Sinks' reported to the United Nations on an annual basis. This Summary provides information on the water quality data collected during the survey.
Description:
This Summary presents select physicochemical parameters measured during a survey of Jolly Pond. Location of the sampling sites within the lake was determined using a Generalized Random Tessellation Stratified survey design. Measured parameters include water temperature, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, pH, chlorophyll, total phosphorus, and total nitrogen.
