Mercury in the Environment and Links to Deposition - Atmospheric Mercury Modeling

Citation:

Bullock, R. AND M. Cohen. Mercury in the Environment and Links to Deposition - Atmospheric Mercury Modeling. Spring 2020 meeting of the Mercury in the Environment and Links to Deposition (MELD) ad-hoc science committee of the NADP, N/A, Web-Based Conference, May 11 - 12, 2020.

Impact/Purpose:

This presentation will be used as a deliberative document to start discussion on the needs of the National Atmospheric Deposition Program for atmospheric mercury modeling to provide dry mercury flux estimates and source attribution for total mercury deposition (wet + dry)

Description:

Atmospheric mercury models currently available are described along with the major sources of modeling uncertainty as previously identified in published peer-reviewed literature.
