Impact/Purpose:

This was a requested presentation provided for the NASEM committee on Anticipatory Research for EPA’s Research and Development Enterprise to Inform Future Environmental Protection. This presentation gave an overview of six research efforts led by CEMM and CPHEA scientists focused on wildland fire smoke and involving partnerships in their genesis and implementation.

Description:

ORD's wildland fire smoke research involves many outside partners, including other federal organizations, state/local/tribal air agencies, nonprofits, and the private sector. This presentation covers six different research efforts related to wildland fire smoke and describes how these projects were developed and implemented along with partnering organizations.
