This ensures members of the National Science and Technology Council are aware of research ongoing within its jurisdiction.

This is the Federal Nanoplastics Community of Interest bi-monthly update to the NSTC Joint Subcommittee for Environment, Innovation, and Public Health (JEEP) Quarterly Meeting. The presentation will cover events at the last Federal Nanoplastics Community of Interest meeting. I will discuss presentations by Scott Coffin who gave an update on California’s legal microplastic mandates, progress on the Save our Seas 2,0 act requirement for a report on Federal actions for microfibers, and results of an American Chemistry Council workshop on standard reference materials for micro/ nano plastics.
