Description:
As part of its ongoing efforts to support implementation of the Toxic Substance Control Act as revised by the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act, EPA researchers are developing innovative methods to collect and predict exposure estimates for thousands of chemicals. These types of quantitative exposure data, considered NAMs for Exposure, are integrated with toxicity data to help thoroughly evaluate chemicals for potential health effects. This slide deck is an overview presentation covering exposure NAM data and methods (the Stochastic Human Exposure and Dose Simulation Model – Hight Throughput) developed under EPA’s Exposure Forecasting project, developed for the Center for Computational Toxicology and Exposure’s NAMs training workshop in April 2024.
