Impact/Purpose:
Invitrodb v3.5 is the source of targeted bioactivity data from CCTE and underpins the Bioactivity tab of the CompTox Chemicals Dashboard. All targeted assay data within CCTE are pipelined using the ToxCast Pipeline into invitrodb. In this 2022 release of data, additional assay endpoints were added, including endpoints that are relevant to neurodevelopment, neuroactivity, thyroid related targets in multiple species, metabolism within estrogen receptor screening, and developmental toxicity (to the endoderm). In 2022, over 135,000 new sample-endpoint relationships were added to the database for public release. These data are critical to informing research that utilizes bioactivity data in a variety of relevant applications.
Description:
Invitrodb v3.5 represents an annual release of ToxCast database with added data, including targeted assay data for PFAS as well as new assay endpoints covering a number of toxicities, including bioactivity relevant to developmental, endocrine, and developmental neurotoxicity.
