Big leaps in risk assessment approaches across species and biological scale

Impact/Purpose:

Carlie LaLone will serve as a lead speaker for the first sub-topic and comment on the approaches, tools and challenges of making leaps with new approaches to understand exposure risks (especially across species and biological scales). This ignite talk is meant to stimulate discussion therefore with include comments on evolutionary conservation of molecular targets between species (including humans) and how such similarities at molecular (and higher) levels of organization provide links between ecological and human health concerns.
