Impact/Purpose:

This presentation is by invitation from OMB-TWG (April Kleuver) as a result of previous discussions regarding thyroid hormone economy during pregnancy. As disruption of the HPT-axis is an on-going challenge across a diverse landscape of environmental chemicals, April K. and Chris Weiss have coordinated a December meeting of the Federal Information Exchange focusing on thyroid issues and toxicology.

Description:

There is no abstract for this presentation. The slide set being presented provides an overview of the complexities associated with thyroid hormone dynamics in the maternal and fetal compartment during gestation particularly as it relates to PFAS exposure (e.g., PFBS).
