Solid phase microextraction method development for measuring Henry's Law constants of formaldehyde in aqueous solutions
Citation:
Mocka, C. A., N. F. Roache, AND X. LIU. Solid phase microextraction method development for measuring Henry's Law constants of formaldehyde in aqueous solutions. In Proceedings, Indoor Air 2011, Austin, TX, June 05 - 10, 2011.
Impact/Purpose:
conference paper
Description:
Formaldehyde (HCHO) has been of special concern as an indoor air pollutant because of its existence in a wide range of products and its adverse health effects. The air-water partitioning behavior of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as formaldehyde is an important process that offers insight into the transport of chemicals in the environment (Bierwagen & Keller, 2001).
