Description:
The EPA's Office of Research and Development with the assistance of the U.S.-German Bilateral Working Group and the Interstate Technology Regulatory Council (ITRC), is developing Site-specific Management Approaches and Revitalization Tools (SMART) that will help stakeholders overcome barriers to revitalization. Two tools, SMARTresource and SMARTtech will be described and participants will be given the opportunity to use these tools and provide feedback. Additionally, a representative from Kansas State University will introduce the Environmental Knowledge and Assessment Tool (EKAT) and ask participants to share their views regarding how this tool might be made useful to brownfield practitioners.
