The goal of this project is to allow underserved and underrepresented populations more access to environmental information and opportunities related to water quality, eutrophication, coastal habitats, and wetland loss.

Description:

The goal of this project is to allow underserved and underrepresented populations more access to environmental information and opportunities related to water quality, eutrophication, coastal habitats, and wetland loss. The following objectives will be achieved through this project: (1) share information on these environmental problems, (2) host two 5-state educational symposia that will spark activities and opportunities for underserved people, (3) create an interactive web site, (4) provide start up funding to new groups providing environmental education to the underrepresented populations, and (5) evaluate project effectiveness for future uses.
