| Abstract |
Single dose-of Lorox 60 OF (605 active ingredient) were administered by intragastric intubation to fasted male and female rats. The combined LD60 for male and female rats was 1,500 ag/kg of body weight. Clinical signs of toxicity were observed in lethally and nonlethally dosed animals. Deaths occurred within 3 days of dosing. Cross pathologic examinations of rats revealed no apparent organ-specific toxicity. This material is considered slightly toxic when administered as a single oral dose (i.e., LD6O between 500 and 5,000 ag/kg). |
