Among the topics discussed are: perspectives in urban water management, systems description for urban water resources, conjunctive use of surface and ground water in urban water supplies, hydrometeorology for urban runoff systems, flood plain planning in urban areas, socio-economic aspects of urban water planning, environmental enhancement and recreation, costs of water reuse, river basin quality simulation, Bureau of Reclamation programs related to urban water resources and comprehensive inter-basin planning and inter-governmental coordination.
