Abstract |
Four experimental test plots were constructed using four different particle size distributions. Each pit containing a specified milled refuse particle size was evaluated in an attempt to correlate particle size with different parameters. The parameters under study were: wind displacement of milled refuse; differential settlement of compacted milled refuse; and attraction of vectors, rodents, birds and wildlife to the milled refuse. |
