The sampling and analytical results cited in the report to Congress came from three sources: evaluation of management practices for mine solid waste storage, disposal, and treatment; hazardous waste identification and listing support: mining waste study;and characterization of wastewater and solid wastes generated in selecte ore mining subcategories (Sbm Hg, Al, V, W, Ni, Tl). For each source, the document presents a review of the sampling and analysis methodologies, as well as a description of the data collected.
