Abstract |
This protocol provides generic procedures for implementing a verification test for the performance of in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), focused specifically to expand the application of ISCO at manufactured gas plants with polyaromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) contamination (MGP/PAH) and at active gas station sites. This protocol will be used to develop a Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for verification of ISCO. Verification tests will be performed by Battelle, which managed the ETV MMR Center through a cooperative agreement with EPA. The scope of the MMR Center covered verification of materials management technologies, and technologies to remediate contaminated land and groundwater. |
