Notes |
Printed from the Internet. This web site reports on a study of multiple chemical contaminants in humans, conducted by the Environmental Working Group and Commonweal. Blood and urine from ten newborns were tested for 210 chemicals that occur in consumer products and industrial pollution. There were significant amounts of chemicals in the subjects, hence the name the "body burden." Specific chemicals and pollutants are discussed here, as are the health effects. Includes bibliographical references. |
