Abstract |
The course is designed as an introduction to construction project safety requirements for employees in EPA Regional Offices, in delegated State agencies, in Corps of Engineers offices, and in EPA audit offices. The course consists of a comprehensive introduction to the enforcement of all employee safety requirements for EPA-funded projects. The course addresses technical and enforcement issues to be considered in the construction of treatment facilities. However, the course is not intended to be a safety engineering course. The purpose of the course is to introduce you, the student, to the safety aspects of EPA-funded construction projects, and to provide a foundation from which you will grow in your technical and enforcement duties. A second purpose of the course is to train you in the awareness and use of other reference documents. |
