| Abstract |
A study of indoor air quality was carried out over a 15-month period by The Research Corporation of New England. The program consisted of laboratory investigations, field studies, and an inventory of indoor sources. Tasks 1 and 2 established the emissions and effect on air quality (NO2, NO, and CO) of gas stoves and heaters both in the laboratory and in 4 homes with gas-fired stoves. Task 3 developed information on indoor sources of air contamination in typical southern New England homes and provided the basis for assessing the impact of aerosol products and their use on indoor air quality. |
