Abstract Standards of Performance for the control of emissions from the beverage can surface coating industry are being promulgated under the authority of section 111 of the Clean Air Act. These standards would apply to all beverage can surface coating lines for which construction or modification began on or after the date of proposal of the regulations. This document contains a summary of public comments and responses that serves as the basis for the revisions made to the standards between proposal and promulgation.
