Since passage by Congress of the first air pollution and Technical Assistance Act legislation in 1955, the Public Health Service has sponsored a series of conferences and seminars on air pollution research. These are designed to provide a national opportunity to appraise problems and progress in this field. The 1960 research seminar held in New Orleans, Louisiana, is reported. |
