Abstract |
The fact sheet provides a summary of the requirements and procedures set forth in Section 123 of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986. This law authorizes the EPA to reimburse local governments for expenses incurred in carrying out temporary emergency measures in response to hazardous substance threats. |
