Abstract |
Modern analytical methods, including sample treatment procedures and instrumentation, which are being used to characterize mixed environmental exposures in a current study of the asbestos industry in the U.S. are discussed. The presentation is limited to the relatively new techniques that are being used for this purpose. In addition, certain older techniques such as emission spectroscopy, electron microscopy, and absorption spectroscopy are also utilized. |
