| Abstract |
We have been a participant in the joint National Cancer Institute (NCI) Formaldehyde Institute epidemiologic mortality study on formaldehyde. As a participant in this study, we recently received a copy of the final report of the study and a computer tape of data on our plant involved in the study. The manuscript concludes that there is no significant relationship between formaldehyde exposure in the workplace and increased mortality for incidence of cancer. Our technical staff have reviewed the data and concur with this NCI conclusion. |
